Credit-Adjustment Reporting

K6 Carbon prepares credit-adjustment reporting for liquid low-carbon-intensity fuels produced in Canada. The service covers facility details, carbon intensity, feedstock origin, energy density, eligible fuel quantities and differences from previously reported values. Required credit deposits, cancellations and transfers are calculated and documented together with the reason for each adjustment.  

Reporting support is provided for gaseous low-carbon-intensity fuels, including biogas, renewable natural gas, renewable propane and hydrogen. K6 Carbon compiles production-facility information, feedstock data, carbon-intensity values, energy densities, eligible quantities and fuelling-station records where applicable. Changes affecting previously reported quantities or credits are translated into the required deposits, cancellations or participant transfers.  

K6 Carbon prepares adjustments for liquid and gaseous low-carbon-intensity fuels imported into Canada. The reporting package includes the province of import, foreign supplier and production-facility information, feedstock origin, carbon intensity, energy density and eligible imported quantities used in Canada. Differences from earlier reports are identified, and the corresponding credit deposits, cancellations and transfers are documented.  

Low-carbon-intensity fuels exported or sold for export are assessed to determine the compliance credits that must be cancelled. K6 Carbon documents the exported quantity, applicable carbon intensity and assigned identifier. The resulting cancellation amount is incorporated into the credit-adjustment report.  

K6 Carbon supports adjustments involving electricity produced from biogas. Facility locations, feedstock information, biogas and electricity carbon intensities, energy density, biogas consumption and electricity production are compiled for each reporting period. Variances from previously reported quantities are quantified and linked to the required credit deposits or cancellations.  

The service covers adjustments arising from temporary, default or approved carbon-intensity values used to create compliance credits. K6 Carbon records the applicable periods, fuel quantities, energy densities and credits to be deposited or cancelled, including modifications or errors not addressed elsewhere in the report. Final totals are reconciled to determine the net number of credits requiring adjustment.
