Material Balance Reporting

K6 Carbon compiles the required identification and contact details for registered creators and foreign suppliers. We organize civic and postal addresses, telephone numbers and email information for reporting. Authorized-agent details are also incorporated where applicable. 

K6 Carbon evaluates how each feedstock should be identified within the material balance report. We document the feedstock category and the specific type used to produce the low-carbon-intensity fuel. This creates a clear record of the feedstocks associated with compliance-credit creation. 

We prepare detailed records of the type and quantity of low-carbon-intensity fuel produced during each reporting period. K6 Carbon distinguishes the total production quantity from the portion produced using eligible feedstock. We also identify fuel intended for compliance-credit creation or import into Canada. 

K6 Carbon records the carbon-intensity identifier assigned to the fuel or the applicable default carbon intensity. We also document the fuel’s energy density in megajoules per cubic metre. These technical values are compiled accurately within the material balance report. 

We track eligible and non-eligible feedstock quantities used in the production process. K6 Carbon documents eligible feedstock available at the beginning of each reporting period and quantities brought into the facility during the period. This provides a transparent account of feedstock movement and use. 

K6 Carbon prepares the required records for low-carbon-intensity fuel supplied for import into Canada. We document importer details and the internal accounting identifiers associated with each declaration. The quantity of fuel produced using eligible feedstock and supplied for compliance-credit creation is also reported.
